Jordanian trade delegation partakes in GITEX-2021 in Dubai

A Jordanian trade delegation comprising 30 representatives of companies operating in the ICT sector has participated in the 41st edition of the International Fair (GITEX-2021) in Dubai.

ICT sector representative Haitham Rawajbah said that the Jordanian delegation is seeking to get acquainted with the latest technologies in the ICT sector, communicate with exhibiting companies and take advantage of the opportunities available to establish commercial partnerships and network with them.

In a press statement on Tuesday, Rawajbah considered the ICT sector as a basic pillar of national security in addition to its importance as mainstay of the economy, namely, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The five-day tech event is the largest in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, with the participation of some 700 companies, representing some sixty countries.

It focuses on 5G, Cloud, BigData, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Quantum Computing, immersive Marketing, and Fintech.

Digital Economy Ministry clarifies details of using Sanad app for purpose of inspection

The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship said that citizens can use the the Sanad application without registering on its application.

The ministry said on its official website, on Tuesday, that peopel can directly choose the option of their health ID, where the last PCR test appears, the link to the vaccination certificate, and the QR code.

Citizens, the ministry added, can keep the vaccination certificate or the code and show it to the inspector, where inspectors use the inspection option to read (the health ID, reading the vaccination certificate code, and reading the personal ID and the final step to enter the targeted facility will be in accordance with Sanad. app “green” status.

Mufleh attends inauguration of Qatar charity office in Amman

Minister of Social Development Ayman Mufleh, on Tuesday, inaugurated a Qatari charity office in Amman, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both sides.

During a ceremony in Amman on the occasion, Mufleh said that the inauguration of the office reflects the deeply rotted ties between the two countries.

Mufleh stressed that Jordan believes that humanitarian work, which is one of the main constants in the national strategy of the Jordanian state, is a message stemming from a firm conviction to provide a decent life for all residents in the Kingdom.
