Three traffickers arrested in possession of drugs

Over the past few days, police have arrested three drug dealers in Ar-Ramtha and Al-Mafraq, confiscating large quantities of narcotics.

Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel raided the hideout of two suspects in Ar-Ramtha and found one kilogram of heroin, one kilogram of crystal meth, and a quantity of hashish, the Public Security Directorate spokesperson said on Tuesday. The traffickers were later found, arrested, and turned over to the judiciary.

Police were also following up on a drug dealer in Al-Mafraq after receiving a tip that he was looking to sell large quantities of drugs, the spokesperson added. After a car chase, he was stopped and arrested before police found 10,000 narcotic pills in his vehicle.
