Desert highway: Civil Defense teams and the police, supported by the Karak and Madaba Civil Defense Directorates and Support Groups in Southern Jordan, responded to a collision involving three trucks and an oil tanker truck on the Desert Highway, according to the Public Security Directorate's Media Spokesman.

According to Jordan News Agency, the collision resulted in a fire involving the tanker and the trucks, leading to one person sustaining injuries and bruises. Fire crews quickly arrived at the scene in Swaqa to extinguish the fire, while paramedics provided first aid to the injured individual before evacuating him to a nearby hospital.

Authorities have initiated a traffic investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident, as stated by the spokesman.
