Amman: The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has declared its operations rooms "ready" to handle any weather-related emergencies as the Kingdom braces for unstable weather conditions from Thursday through Saturday. The ministry is prepared to receive reports and feedback from citizens around the clock to address any potential emergencies.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry has set up operations rooms at its headquarters and across all directorates nationwide. These rooms are equipped with specialized technical teams and 110 field crews. They are supported by 135 government vehicles, 20 snowplows, and an additional 190 vehicles from the private sector, ensuring a rapid response to any incidents requiring immediate intervention.
In a statement, the ministry emphasized its "preparedness" for weather-related conditions, highlighting that the emergency rooms will be operational nonstop. The ministry has urged citizens to contact the main operations room at (06/5850111) for any observations. Reports can also be made through emergency hotline numbers available in all governorates or via the unified number (106) from any landline or mobile phone.
