Amman: The Social Security Corporation (SSC) reported that a total of 11,850 indebted businesses have taken advantage of the Board of Directors' decision to pay or reschedule their loans since it was implemented in May, with installment agreements amounting to JD396 million.

According to Jordan News Agency, the SSC has urged indebted entities to capitalize on its Board's decision, which extends the 0% interest waiver on installment payments until June 30. The deadline specifically for the tourism sector is set to expire on December 31.

The SSC emphasized that this decision is a significant opportunity for all indebted establishments to settle their installments. The organization aims to continue supporting Jordan's private sector and enhancing its economic capacity to achieve sustainability and growth.

Businesses with an active installment agreement or a rescheduling plan are also eligible to benefit from this waiver. They can submit a rescheduling request following the SSC's applicable procedures, as highlighted in the statement.
