Amman: Amman Chamber of Industry on Saturday held a signing ceremony for the first round of consulting services contracts, part of the "Tamkeen" (empowerment) of Small and Medium Enterprises' through Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies project. The ceremony saw the signing of contracts with 13 industrial entities selected through a competitive process by an ad hoc evaluation committee, the chamber said in a press release.
According to Jordan News Agency, the consulting services program is part of joint cooperation between the chamber, the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO), and the Innovative Private Sector Employment program. It is supported by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, through the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

This program, he pointed out, is the first of its kind, assessing companies' readiness for digital transformation using internationally accredited evaluation tools.
The evaluation allows for the development of a comprehensive roadmap for each industrial company, covering technical priorities and transformation requirements, and evaluating economic feasibility. The roadmap is tailored to each company's specific circumstances and needs, contributing to improved operational efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced innovation.

This is achieved through keeping up-to-date with Fourth Industrial Revolution solutions and applications.
