Israeli soldiers kill Palestinian near Bethlehem

Israeli troops Monday shot and killed a Palestinian at a checkpoint near a Jewish settlement south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to witnesses.

They said soldiers opened fire at close range on the man, whose identity was not yet known, hitting him in the head and leaving him to bleed.

The occupation army alleged the man tried to stab the soldiers.

House Foreign Affairs Committee condemns terrorist attack on UAE

The Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee condemned drone terrorist attack by the Houthi militia against civilian targets in the United Arab Emirates.

Committee head MP Khaldoun Heena described as “terrorist and cowardly” the attack that killed a number of victims and injured others, saying that the UAE security is an integral part of the Kingdom’s security.

The committee expressed condolences over the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery, stressing Jordan’s full support for the UAE.

FM condemns Houthi terrorist attack against UAE

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, condemned the cowardly drone terrorist attack by the Houthi militia against civilian targets in the United Arab Emirates.

In a phone call with UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Monday, Safadi voiced Jordan’s full support to the UAE in maintaining its security, stressing that the UAE security is an integral part of the Kingdom’s security.

Safadi expressed condolences over the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Gov’t calls two-hour delay Tuesday due to weather conditions

The government Monday issued an order to put back working hours to start at 10:00 on Tuesday for the public sector due to the weather conditions.

According to the order, the field governors across the Kingdom will be at liberty to take necessary measures related to Tuesday’s work.
