A police force arrested one of the most wanted fugitives in the Kingdom after ambushing him west of the Balqa Governorate on Tuesday.
The fugitive is wanted for murder, drug dealing, terrorizing citizens, discharging a weapon, robbery, and kidnapping, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson.
He said the man had been laying low for a long time, however, investigators were able to track his movements and whereabouts through an extensive investigation over the past few weeks.
After identifying his location, police set a trap for the wanted man and caught him off guard, rendering him unable to resist arrest or discharge his gun and rapidly and professionally snared the fugitive, according to the spokesperson.
He added that the criminal has been turned to the concerned judicial authorities pending trial.
