A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that the person was arrested, and in his possession (400 forged dollars) and white papers cut to the size of the currency used for forgery.
The Turkish Presidential Spokesman, Ibrahim Kalin, confirmed that resolving the second round of the presidential elections, scheduled for May 28, will be in the interest of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and it will be easy.
Ibrahim Kalin said in an interview with one of the private Turkish channels, today, Tuesday: that the difference in votes between Erdogan and his rival, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, is very large, and that it is difficult for the opposition to overcome the difference, which reached 2.5 million votes.
He added, “While we are preserving our votes, we believe that our President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will most likely add new votes to his betrayal in the second round.”
He pointed out that the Turkish people voted in favor of Erdogan by 49.5 percent, out of their desire to preserve the stability in the country.
The Turkish Presidential Spokesman expressed his belief that popular support for Erdogan will continue within the framework of the vision of the “Century of Turkey.”
The “Century of Turkey” is a vision announced by President Erdogan last October, and it includes the programs and goals of the Turkish Republic in the new centenary.
Last Sunday, Turkey witnessed presidential and parliamentary elections, where President Erdogan, the candidate of the Public Alliance, the leader of the Republican People’s Party, Kilicdaroglu, the candidate of the Ummah Alliance, and Sinan Ogan, the candidate of the “Ata” (ancestors) coalition, competed in the presidential elections.
After the end of the counting and counting processes yesterday, the head of the Supreme Electoral Commission in Turkey, Ahmed Yanar, officially announced that the second round of the presidential elections will be held on May 28, because no candidate obtained more than 50 percent of the votes.
