3 AABU Students Secure Prestigious Fellowships at French Institute

Al mafraq: Al al-Bayt University (AABU) has announced that three of its students have been awarded fellowships at the French Institute, with support from the French Embassy in Amman. The fellowships were awarded to only five students across the pan-Arab region.

According to Jordan News Agency, the university's College of Engineering achieved significant recognition as Farhan Mufleh Khawaldeh, Hussam Aref Husban, and Hala Abdul Hakim Bani Atta were selected for the fellowship. This accomplishment follows the students' success in securing second place in a national competition organized by the Jordan Green Building Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Water.

The students participated in a program in Brest, France, where they presented a project focused on generating electricity from ocean waves. This project evidently impressed the judging panel. AABU highlighted that the students also received specialized training in marine sciences and engineering and successfully completed the first level in French, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional development.
