Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested 31 violators of the terms and conditions of the Residency and Nationality Department in a number of Al-Karkh areas. The Command stated in a statement that: "With the aim of enhancing security and stability in all areas of the capital, Baghdad, and coinciding with the approach of the Arbaeen visit, the security forces in the two divisions (second, mechanized) Federal Police and the security services attached to them, through search and inspection operations and the installation of temporary surprise checkpoints, were able to arrest 31 violators of the controls and conditions of the Residency and Nationality Department in the areas of (Al-Hurriya, Kwerish, Al-Falahat) next to Karkh, and the violators were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them."
