Gaza: Fifty-three bodies were recovered from under the rubble in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Wednesday. In its daily statistical report on casualties resulting from the Israeli war, the ministry highlighted the challenges faced by rescue teams in reaching victims due to widespread destruction.

According to Jordan News Agency, many victims remain trapped under the rubble or along roadsides as ambulance and civil defence crews struggle to navigate the damaged areas. The ministry confirmed that the overall death toll from the Israeli assault has now risen to 47,161, with 111,166 wounded since October 7, 2023.
