The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Friday, the arrest of 6 wanted persons in Diwaniyah. The ministry said in a statement: "A force from the Anti-Crime Department in Diwaniyah carried out a large-scale campaign with the aim of searching for wanted persons and executing arrest warrants, which included various areas throughout the governorate, and included setting up checkpoints and checking the names of wanted persons." It added: "The campaign resulted in the arrest of 6 wanted persons under various legal articles, and they were investigated in the cases directed to them in order to refer them to the judiciary."
