7 drug dealers arrested in Baghdad and Najaf

Baghdad, The Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate detachments arrested five drug dealers and promoters while they were in different areas of the capital, in seized quantities of narcotic pills, drug paraphernalia and light weapons in their possession. The directorate said in a statement that these wanted persons have arrest warrants issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Article (28 Narcotics), and they were duly handed over to the relevant authorities. It added that Najaf Intelligence and Security Directorate detachments arrested two drug dealers red-handed, and two arrest warrants were issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Article (28) Narcotics.
