7th Batch of Sick Gaza Children Admitted to Private Hospitals, Says PHA Chairman

Amman: The Private Hospitals Association (PHA) has distributed the seventh group of sick and injured children from Gaza, totaling 35 children accompanied by 72 escorts, to several member private hospitals. This took place upon their arrival on Wednesday as part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative.

According to Jordan News Agency, Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri, Chairman of the Association, affirmed that the initiative is continuing in close coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army, the Ministry of Health, and the World Health Organization.

He emphasized that, despite ongoing challenges, the Association remains committed to its humanitarian duty, in line with the Royal directives to receive 2,000 children for medical treatment in Jordan.

He added that the total number of children received and treated in private hospitals since the initiative began in March has now reached 112 children, accompanied by 241 caregivers, with high-level medical and logistical coordination in place to ensure the safety and care of all involved.
