8 tomato shipments entered Egyptian markets on Thursday, as part of a plan to open new destinations for Jordan's surplus agricultural crop production, media spokesperson for the Ministry of Agriculture, Lawrence Majali, announced. In a statement, Majali said the ministry seeks to sustain export operations, streamline consignments and continue to communicate with tomato concentrate factories to absorb quantities of the excess production, in completion of the government support for this crop.
