Western media reported that a number of missiles were launched from southern Lebanon towards northern Israel, in a series of mutual and continuous bombardments on the Lebanese-Israeli border during the day.
These outlets reported that Israeli artillery bombed the villages of Ramieh, Blida, and the outskirts of the town of Marwahin in the western sector of southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army said that five Anti-tank missiles were launched today from the Lebanese side, targeting military sites on the border, one of which targeted the Shtoula settlement, and another targeted a military force. In response, the army attacked military targets belonging to Hezbollah.
The Israeli army called on residents of settlements near the border with Lebanon to stay in shelters. It also announced the isolation of an area approximately four kilometers from the northern border with Lebanon and declared it a military zone. It called for caution and not to enter this area.
“Preemptive GPS jamming will be generally activated in combat zones to meet various operational needs,” he said.
The Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it had targeted an Israeli army center in the Shtoula settlement and hit a tank on the border with Lebanon with guided missiles, leaving dead and wounded. /End
