A security source revealed the details of the airstrike that targeted an ISIS cell west of Hamrin Hills in Diyala Governorate. The source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The intelligence detachments monitored suspicious movement a few days ago on the slope west of Hamrin Hills, northeast of Baquba, the center of Diyala Governorate." He added: "After intensifying the monitoring and investigation operations and determining the hiding place of the ISIS cell, which consists of four terrorists, a direct airstrike was launched, resulting in the killing of three terrorists according to initial observations."
