Baghdad, Baghdad Operations Command arrested an ISIS terrorist while carrying out a pre-emptive operation to secure the areas adjacent to the Visitors Road, south of Baghdad. The command stated in a statement, 'The units of the Seventeenth Infantry Division and the units attached to it, in coordination with the command's intelligence and security department, carried out pre-emptive operations for regional search and inspection, armed reconnaissance, and setting up temporary surprise checkpoints, in the district of Mahmoudiyah, orchards, and the surrounding villages, which resulted in the arrest of two defendants, one of whom belongs to the defeated ISIS terrorist gangs, after monitoring his movements and his location within the area of responsibility, and with a precise ambush set up for him, he was arrested in the center of Al-Rashid district, south of the capital.
