Abu Samen, Palestinian Contractors Union Discuss Strengthening Ties

Abu Samen: Minister of Public Works and Housing, Maher Abu Samen, affirmed the government's commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, guided by His Majesty King Abdullah II. During a meeting with the Head of the Palestinian Contractors Union (PCU), Dr. Ahmad Qadi, Abu Samen highlighted Jordan's ongoing support for the Palestinian cause in various forums.

According to Jordan News Agency, the minister underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation between the ministry and the contractor sectors of both countries to achieve progress. Meanwhile, Dr. Qadi commended Jordan's role as a strategic partner and supportive force for Palestine, describing the nation as a vital ally.

Qadi expressed the PCU's willingness to strengthen economic cooperation and build partnerships between Jordanian and Palestinian companies, reflecting the deep historical ties between the two nations. He emphasized the need to enhance collaboration in the contracting and construction sector, which serves as a critical economic pillar for both regions.

Addressing common challenges, Qadi pointed out financing difficulties, market fluctuations, and the political and economic restrictions faced by the Palestinian people. On political matters, he lauded Jordan's firm stance against any attempts to displace Palestinians or propose alternative settlements, reinforcing the Palestinian people's commitment to their land and rights.
