Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Abul Gheit condemned, on Sunday 4/08/2024, the criminal attack that targeted a restaurant in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, on Friday. This coward terrorist attack, that left scores dead and wounded, aims at weakening the federal government and intermediating civilians, the spokesman for the Arab League chief said. He expressed heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Somalia over the victims of the attack, wishing a speedy recovery to all wounded. He reiterated the pan-Arab body's solidarity with Somalia in fighting whatever threatens its security and stability or undermines the progress it achieves on all tracks.
