Amman: The Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC) announced on Wednesday it extended loans totaling JD7.7 million for 2,276 livestock farmers to purchase fodder for sheep, cattle, and camels.
According to Jordan News Agency, the financial support is to make up for limited pastures after a weak rain season. The loans aim to accelerate access to fodder and maintain continuity in livestock production.
The ACC stated that the funding was fully covered by the Ministry of Agriculture's budget. This initiative aligns with the ministry's policy to support the livestock sector and enhance farmers' resilience to face climate-related problems.
