The agreements, according to JEDCO Grants Director Iman Atiyeh, are within the Rural Economic Development and Employment Project, which is financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development, in partnership with the Dutch government through the window to support and develop the value chain and entrepreneurial business models of small and medium enterprises.

Atiyeh said that 365 grants were provided to entrepreneurial agricultural projects across the governorates of Jerash, Ajloun, Balqa, Madaba, Mafraq, Zarqa, Irbid, Ma’an, Karak and Tafileh, noting that the enterprises were selected according to criteria and procedures approved by the project management and funding agencies.
