Agriculture Minister and Kenyan Delegation Explore Trade Opportunities

Amman: Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hneifat on Monday engaged in discussions with a Kenyan delegation to explore opportunities for strengthening trade exchange between Jordan and Kenya in the agricultural sector. The meeting took place at the ministry's headquarters and included representatives from the Jordan Fruit and Vegetable Exporters and Producers Association, focusing on addressing challenges that hinder the flow of agricultural products between the two nations.

According to Jordan News Agency, Minister Hneifat emphasized the importance of joint efforts and coordination, advocating for a unified vision that would produce practical outcomes and enhance bilateral cooperation in agricultural trade. The discussions aimed at identifying solutions to existing obstacles and seeking new avenues for expanding trade.

Members of the Kenyan delegation praised the Ministry of Agriculture, the Jordanian Embassy in Nairobi, and the Jordan Fruit and Vegetable Exporters and Producers Association for their roles in fostering agricultural collaboration and expanding trade prospects between Jordan and Kenya. The meeting underscored the commitment of both countries to enhance their agricultural trade relations and explore new opportunities for mutual benefit.
