Amman: The Development Zones Department announced that the third edition of the Ajloun Cable Car Summer Festival 2026 will begin next Thursday.
According to Jordan News Agency, Director General of Development Zones Reem Sahawneh stated that the festival highlights the growing status of Ajloun Cable Car as a prominent tourist destination in Jordan. It has become a major attraction for adventure, nature, and family activities, while also boosting tourism, supporting the local community, and promoting development in the Ajloun Governorate.
Ajloun Development Zone Director Tareq Maaytah mentioned that the festival will continue through August 22. It will feature a range of artistic and theatrical performances, recreational activities, and family events. These offerings aim to provide visitors with a unique summer experience and to enhance Ajloun's reputation as a leading tourist destination in Jordan during the summer months.
The Jordan Free and Development Zones Group has announced a 25 percent discount on Ajloun Cable Car tickets for both Jordanians and foreign visitors throughout the festival, with the exception of Fridays and Saturdays. In addition, a variety of recreational events and activities suitable for all family members will be available.
The group has extended an invitation to citizens, residents, and tourists to visit the Ajloun Cable Car during the festival to enjoy its natural scenery, wide range of activities, and performances.
