Amman: With the approval of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Republic of Ghana has appointed Akram Khreis, CEO of the IBC Group, as its Honorary Consul to Jordan. The appointment recognizes Khreis's experience and efforts in strengthening Jordanian-Ghanaian relations, particularly in studying and promoting investment opportunities.
According to Jordan News Agency, this move aims to open new horizons for bilateral cooperation and to establish joint collaboration in various fields, especially in economic, cultural, diplomatic, and tourism sectors. These efforts are directed towards building sustainable and constructive future ties between the two nations.
The Honorary Consulate of Ghana was officially inaugurated in the capital, Amman, signifying the deep-rooted bilateral relations and the shared commitment to developing them at various levels. This development underscores the mutual interest in enhancing collaboration and interaction between Jordan and Ghana.
Khreis's experience in business and investment, including his management of International Beverages Consultancy Ph Inc, which provides industrial infrastructure services in over 60 countries, including Ghana, supports his consular duties. This experience is expected to help expand the economic cooperation network between Jordan and Ghana, benefiting the business communities in both countries.
