According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Faisaly enters the match after a narrow 4-3 defeat to Qatar's Al-Rayyan in their opening match held in Qatar. In contrast, Al-Nahda managed a 1-1 draw with Saudi Arabia's Al-Taawoun, setting the scene for a crucial encounter as both teams strive to improve their standings in Group C, which also includes Al-Rayyan and Al-Taawoun.
Al-Faisaly aims to leverage their home advantage and the support of their fans to achieve a positive outcome and continue their campaign in the continental competition. The Jordanian club brings with them the experience of previous successes in Asian tournaments, having been crowned AFC Cup champions in 2005 and 2006.
