Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, called on the international community to unify vision, ranks and positions to force the Israeli entity to stop its attacks as soon as possible. Al-Hakim said in a statement on the occasion of the International Day of Non-Violence: It is an important occasion to remind that the use of violence is likely to distort the human identity and value norms among human beings, in addition to threatening security, stability and societal peace. He added that these days we are witnessing the most prominent manifestations of the excessive violence that the Israeli occupation entity is practicing against humanity in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and other countries. Building Licenses Rise 3.2% in First Half of 2026
Amman: The number of building licenses issued in the Kingdom rose by 3.2 percent in the first half of 2026, reaching 12,070 compared with 11,700 in the same period of 2025, the Department of Statistics (DoS) said Monday.
