Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed the service and engineering effort team to target, with its efforts, the implementation of complementary and emergency projects in Baghdad and the governorates for the year 2024. Al-Sudani stressed, during his chairing of a meeting of the service and engineering effort team, the importance of the team targeting, with its efforts, projects that do not fall within the work of ministries, governorates or municipal departments, in order to overcome costs and avoid overlapping tasks between executive bodies. He directed, according to a statement by his media office, to identify the lands suitable for the construction of school buildings, and to complete the original approvals and transfer them to the Iraq Development Fund, to complete them according to the approved mechanisms and shorten time and efforts. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of targeting main roads, water projects and infrastructure, with the best guidance, and in the path of achiev ing the best benefits within the approved allocations, within the framework of seeking to achieve the service that the citizen feels, and constitutes a priority in his needs and daily use.
