Prime Minister, Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani received members of the Kirkuk Provincial Council from the Kurdish and Christian components. The Prime Minister stressed, according to a statement from his office, the importance of continuing efforts and giving priority to the interests of Kirkuk above any consideration. He said that Kirkuk is in dire need of forming a harmonious local government that meets the needs and aspirations of citizens. Al-Sudani renewed his full support for the Kirkuk Provincial Council, stressing the importance of working in one line and rejecting marginalization in order to proceed with implementing development plans.
