An Algerian gas tanker rescued, on Tuesday, 30 illegal immigrants who were on a boat near the Italian island of Sardinia. The Algerian News Agency reported that the Algerian liquefied gas tanker /Tessala/ received an urgent call from the Italian Coast Guard as it approached the island of Sardinia to rescue illegal immigrants who were on a boat that sank at sea. It added that the tanker responded to the call and provided first aid to all 30 immigrants of different nationalities.
