Amman Hosts Arab Youth Innovation and Technology Summit 2025

Amman: Amman's selection as the Arab Youth Capital and the Arab Digital Capital underscores Jordan's pivotal role in fostering innovation and digital transformation, as highlighted by Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani. Momani emphasized the importance of investing in human capital as a fundamental strategy for shaping the future during the opening of the "Arab Youth Innovation and Technology Summit 2025."

According to Jordan News Agency, the summit, organized by the Knights of Change Foundation under the auspices of the League of Arab States, aims to unite creative minds to empower youth by enhancing their skills and innovations. Momani asserted that this gathering supports governmental efforts to advance digital media, promote transparency, and cultivate a knowledge-based society that actively participates in decision-making processes.

Momani further elaborated that innovation and digital transformation are key elements of the Economic Modernization Vision, which strives to drive economic growth and improve quality of life through sustainability, youth empowerment, and fostering an environment conducive to entrepreneurship and technical skill development. Hosting the summit in Amman highlights Jordan's dedication to empowering youth to shape their future and lead advancements in technology and entrepreneurship, contributing to the digital and knowledge economies both in Jordan and across the Arab region.

Momani expressed optimism that the summit would enhance Arab cooperation in innovation, knowledge-sharing, and digitization, inspiring youth to take an active role in constructing the future. Organizers noted that the two-day summit is part of the broader Arab Innovation and Investment Forum, supporting Amman's designation as the Arab Youth Capital for 2025 by the Arab Council for Youth and Sports Ministers and as the Arab Digital Capital for 2025 by the Council of Arab Telecommunications Ministers.

The summit convenes representatives from public and private sectors, young entrepreneurs from the Arab world, and an array of leaders, experts, and innovators to deliberate on topics such as digital transformation, innovation, entrepreneurship, the green economy, artificial intelligence, modern education, digital media, and digital health. Additionally, the event will introduce regional initiatives and awards aimed at supporting innovation and empowering youth.
