Amman: Head of the Greater Amman Municipality committee Yousef Shawarbeh on Tuesday evening lit the Christmas tree at the Sixth Circle, in a gesture celebrating the values of brotherhood, tolerance, and goodwill in the Kingdom.
According to Jordan News Agency, Shawarbeh extended his warmest congratulations to Christian communities on the occasion, saying the celebration reflects the highest meanings of interfaith harmony, coexistence, and solidarity among Jordanians and reinforces national unity.
Shawarbeh noted that the occasion renews the values of love, peace, and tolerance. He expressed a prayerful wish that the celebration returns to the world, the nation, and His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince with goodness, health, and well-being.
