Madaba:Amman Amman Prosecutor General Hassan Abdallat issued a gag order on Wednesday concerning an ongoing investigation into a recent incident at Al Nadeem Hospital in Madaba.
According to Jordan News Agency, the decision to impose the gag order aligns with Article 39 of the Press and Publications Law and Article 225 of the Penal Code.
The directive explicitly prohibits all broadcast, print, audio, and social media outlets from disseminating any news, updates, or commentary related to the case or its judicial proceedings. Additionally, Abdallat stated that the ban extends to sharing or reposting images, videos, and information related to the incident or the gag order itself.
