Amman:The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index experienced a drop of 0.52% on Sunday, closing the day at 4,117 points. This decline came as the total trading volume reached JD15 million.
According to Jordan News Agency, a total of 4.4 million shares were traded through 5,595 transactions during the session. This activity marked a comparison with the previous trading session.
At the sectoral level, the industrial index saw a decrease of 1.78%, and the financial index fell by 0.40%. In contrast, the services sector showed a slight increase of 0.07%. Among the 106 companies that were traded, 23 companies recorded gains in their share prices, while 55 companies experienced declines.
