Amman: Trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange on Monday reached JD 15.7 million, with 6.6 million shares traded through 3,816 transactions. The ASE general index closed at 3,548 points, marking an increase of 0.42 percent.
According to Jordan News Agency, the financial sector index saw an increase of 0.49 percent, while the services sector gained 0.30 percent. The industrial sector also experienced a rise of 0.15 percent during the trading session.
Out of the 102 companies that were traded, share prices increased for 29 companies, while 37 companies saw a decline in their share prices compared to their previous closes.
