Amman Stock Exchange Sees Minimal Gains, Trading Volume Hits JD23.1 Million


Amman: The trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD23.1 million on Wednesday, with 3.7 million shares changing hands across 3,434 transactions. The index saw a slight increase, closing 0.06 percent higher at 3,643 points.



According to Jordan News Agency, of the 96 companies listed on the index, 24 companies experienced gains, 38 recorded losses, while the remaining companies remained steady. The sector performance displayed varied results, with the industrial index declining by 0.62 percent. In contrast, the services sector saw a rise of 0.26 percent, and the finance sector experienced an increase of 0.14 percent.
