According to Jordan News Agency, Amnesty International criticised the international community for allowing the crisis and systematic violence in Gaza to persist. The group highlighted that the starvation of civilians constitutes a war crime that demands immediate intervention, according to the statement.
The organisation underscored Israel's legal obligations as an occupying power to ensure the delivery of essential supplies to Gaza's residents. Amnesty International condemned an incident near an aid site in Rafah, where reports indicate that Israeli forces shot at Palestinians who were starving and seeking assistance. The group called for a swift, independent investigation into the incident.
