Around 29,000 people in Aqaba have received the COVID-19 vaccine since the start of the local immunization campaign last month, according to Saeb Hiyasat, Director of Health Affairs in the city.
In a press statement on Tuesday, Hiyasat said that Aqaba yesterday recorded the lowest positivity rate, compared to other governorates with only 25 positive tests out of 1,569.
