Cairo: The Arab League's Assistant Secretary-General, Ambassador Hossam Zaki, issued a warning on Saturday regarding the displacement of Palestinians, identifying it as a tactic that undermines the Palestinian cause. Zaki emphasized the collective unity of the Arab nations and conveyed strong support for the Palestinians, as well as Jordan and Egypt, in their steadfast opposition to any displacement initiatives.
According to Jordan News Agency, Zaki reiterated the Arab League's unwavering stance against displacement during a televised interview. He highlighted ongoing efforts to rally both Arab and international backing for the creation of a Palestinian state. The Arab League is actively striving to challenge Israel's assertions and reinforce the principle of a two-state solution.
Ambassador Zaki also mentioned that discussions are underway to organize an Arab summit focused on the Palestinian issue, although a date for this summit has not yet been finalized.
