Amman: The Women’s Leadership Trainers Course, organized by UN Women in Jordan, in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces’ (JAF) Women’s Affairs Directorate, concluded on Thursday. The event saw participation from teams representing the JAF, the Public Security Directorate, and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management.

According to Jordan News Agency, the week-long course focused on leadership concepts, strategic planning, and other key areas aimed at enhancing participants’ efficiency in security and military work environments. This initiative reflects ongoing efforts to promote institutional integration, supporting women’s participation in leadership and decision-making roles.

The program builds on the JAF’s commitment to strengthening women’s leadership capacities and creating new opportunities in influential positions. The collaboration with UN Women serves as a foundation for developing specialized training programs that elevate participants’ performance levels and leadership readiness.

The course, held periodically under the National Action Plan for implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1325, strives to establish a strong base of women leaders contributing to policymaking and decision-making processes. This aligns with Jordan’s vision of achieving equality, empowering women, and promoting comprehensive and sustainable security.
