Amman: Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti and Senior Minister of State for Defence and Manpower Zaki Mohammed in Singapore held a meeting Sunday at the General Command. Huneiti and Mohammed's talks focused on strengthening military cooperation between the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) and the Singaporean Ministry of Defence, exploring avenues to enhance coordination in line with the strategic objectives of both nations.
According to Jordan News Agency, the talks addressed mechanisms for implementing joint humanitarian initiatives, particularly those led by the JAF in collaboration with regional and international partners, aimed at supporting civilians affected by the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip.
Mohammed praised Jordan's role under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II in promoting regional security and stability and commended the humanitarian and relief efforts undertaken by JAF.
The meeting was attended by senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and members of the Singaporean delegation.
