Army Chief Honors Top Athletes from JAF’s Self-Defense Sports Team

Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, honored the top female athletes from the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) Self-Defense and Individual Sports Team. This recognition was awarded for their excellence and advanced positions achieved in various championships and sports competitions.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ceremony was attended by the Director of the Military Sports Federation. During his speech at the event, Huneiti praised the outstanding level demonstrated by the athletes. He highlighted that these achievements reflect the remarkable effort, discipline, and determination of the JAF's female members.

Huneiti emphasized that the top achievers are a true testament to the support and attention given by the JAF's General Command to military sports and its development programs. He affirmed the JAF's commitment to providing a suitable training environment that contributes to developing the technical and physical capabilities of athletes of both genders.

In this context, Huneiti mentioned that the ongoing efforts aim to enhance these athletes' competitive presence and their ability to represent the nation and the military institution at local, regional, and international events.
