Amman: Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, visited the Airport Security and Protection Directorate, where he was received by its director and briefed on the directorate's tasks, duties, programs, and future plans.
According to Jordan News Agency, the army chief inaugurated the new administrative buildings and facilities, which were constructed and equipped by the Directorate of Military Housing and Works. These facilities are designed to enhance administrative operations and provide a conducive working environment for personnel. The inauguration also included a review of security and protection procedures at airports and on aircraft, ensuring they meet current operational standards.
Major General Huneiti emphasized the importance of maintaining professionalism and efficiency in collaboration with other security bodies at airports. He praised the directorate's efforts in this regard and highlighted the need to offer services and facilities that project a positive image of the Jordan Armed Forces to visitors.
The event was attended by several senior officers of the Armed Forces, underscoring the significance of the new developments in airport security and protection.
