Army Chief of Staff and his French counterpart discuss procedures for signing a memorandum of military cooperation

Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah discussed with his French counterpart, General Thierry Burkhard, in Paris, the procedures for signing a memorandum of military cooperation. The Ministry of Defense stated in a statement that "Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah held a meeting today, Wednesday, with French Army Chief of Staff General Thierry Burkhard, in Paris; to complete the protocol procedures for signing the memorandum of military cooperation between Iraq and France." It added, "During the meeting, they discussed the areas of training, bilateral military cooperation, and enhancing the capabilities of the Iraqi armed forces, especially after the end of the international coalition mission in Iraq.
