The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, chaired a security meeting yesterday evening, Sunday, attended by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army for Operations and the commanders of the weapons (land, air, army aviation, and air defence) and the Director of Planning. The meeting dealt, according to a statement by the Ministry of Defense today, Monday, with the overall security situation in the region and the challenges it faces. The attendees also touched on the readiness of our security forces to provide the highest levels of security for our country and to take precautions against any emergency.
