Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti visited the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) Command on Monday, where he was received by the RJAF Commander.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the visit, Huneiti received a briefing from the RJAF Commander on the force's assigned tasks and duties, as well as ongoing operational and logistical developments. The briefing also covered the role the Air Force plays in ensuring national security. Huneiti praised the high level of readiness of the Royal Jordanian Air Force, commending their efforts to defend Jordan's skies, ensure homeland security, and protect Jordanians.
In a related development, Huneiti inspected the RJAF Command and Control Centre. He was briefed on the centre's responsibilities and its role in coordinating with relevant authorities to secure Jordan's airspace and monitor infiltration attempts.
At the conclusion of both visits, Huneiti reaffirmed the armed forces' preparedness, emphasizing their capability to confront any threats to the Kingdom's security and stability. He highlighted that the General Command has placed all units and formations on the highest alert level to ensure a rapid response to any potential threats.
