Amman: The Southern Military Zone thwarted two drone infiltration attempts early Thursday along its western front within its area of responsibility. In coordination with security and military agencies, border guard forces detected and took down the drones within Jordanian territory after applying the rules of engagement, which were then handed over to the relevant authorities.
According to Jordan News Agency, the drones were intercepted successfully, preventing any potential threat or breach of security. The authorities are conducting further investigations to determine the origin and intent behind these drone activities.
