Amman: The Northern Military Region on Sunday foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotics using a projectile launched from Syrian territory toward its northern front.
According to Jordan News Agency, after troops heard the launch, search and inspection operations were intensified, leading to the recovery of the projectile and the seized substances.
The items were handed over to the competent authorities for the necessary legal procedures.
