Amman: On Friday morning, the Southern Military Zone successfully thwarted a drone attempt to smuggle a significant quantity of drugs on its western border and under its jurisdiction.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Anti-Narcotics Department and military security agencies collaborated in this operation. The drone was detected by border guards and subsequently shot down within Jordanian territory, following the implementation of the rules of engagement. The confiscated drugs were then handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation and processing.
